EV (Electric Vehicle): A diversified sector

Electric vehicles (EVs) not only offer zero-emission mobility to the environment, but also concentrate clear objectives towards other spin-off businesses that are still interesting in the "today's" future.

The electric vehicle (EV) sector is beginning to consolidate and every day surprises with all the added value it concentrates. It is similar to the hydrocarbon sector, to give an example, where other industries are impacted.

Below is a list - which may be an understatement - of those businesses that compete with each other in the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector:

  • Autonomous and intuitive driving (public and private transportation services).
  • Communications in 5G and (the internet of things).
  • Clean energy generation.
  • Lithium and solid lithium cell batteries (high performance).
  • Battery swap (new model of replacement stations in 15 min).
  • Charging stations.
  • Electric power plants with lithium sources for other industries.
  • Issuance of green bonds.

We can see that the EV sector is not just a vehicle. It is an industry that is consolidating as a holding company and with challenges in the short and medium term to follow the paths taken by those industries that did not innovate.

The challenge and the merit will be for the one who develops them economically, reliably and safely.
