"The metaverse is the next frontier."

Meta Platforms, a new business plan

Zuckerberg hopes to turn the social media user base of more than 3 billion people into an audience that will embrace immersive digital experiences through devices powered by augmented and virtual reality software. In Meta Platforms' vision, the business plan is for people to be able to congregate and communicate by entering virtual environments. This could be while talking to colleagues in a boardroom or hanging out with friends in remote corners of the world.

The new system will allow the creation of augmented reality effects without programming, without coding so that the user can be a content creator. The new system is designed not to use devices such as cell phones, computers or headphones, but your glasses and from there control and create everything with sensors (smart glasses) that could cost about USD 300.00.

This new business plan will need a minimum 5G technology to be able to process the amount of data that each user would use. Therefore, it is expected to take a long time to be applied to 100% of Facebook's customers.
