Investors expect a strong rebound in earnings this year after a drastic drop in 2020.
The US equity market closed the week in the negative. The results of some of the major US banks have come out better than expected. However, it seems that the figures did not convince investors.
In Europe, the main financial markets closed the second week of the year 2021 with falls of about 2%. On the first day of this week, the European indices have undergone slight changes with respect to the close of Friday 15.
